What Kind of Massage is Best for You?
Swedish Relaxation:
A technique that uses long gliding strokes that calm the nervous system and reduce minor muscle tension. Best for stress relief, if you are new to massage, or prefer light to moderate pressure.
Hot Stone:
Heated smooth stones are used to massage the body, increasing blood flow and helping to relax tense muscles. Best for deep relaxation or reducing muscle tension without intense pressure.
Pregnancy:
A massage that is done side-lying, specifically designed for the physical and emotional changes of pregnancy. Best for reducing pregnancy pain and discomfort, improving circulation, and relieving stress.
Deep Tissue:
Using slower strokes and firmer pressure , the therapist accesses deeper muscular structures to address chronic muscle tension and tight knots. Best for chronic muscle pain/ stiffness, or addressing limited mobility.
Ashiatsu (coming soon):
A technique where the therapist uses their feet to apply deep, broad pressure. Best for people who feel deep tissue isn’t deep enough, chronic tension, or targeting large muscle groups.
Stretching:
A technique where the therapist does assisted stretching with you clothed, pre -session. Best for reducing chronic pain, and increasing flexibility.
Cupping:
A technique where suction cups are used to apply negative pressure. Best for chronic muscle tension, active trigger points, and improving range of motion.
*EVERY SESSION IS CUSTOMIZED TO THE INDIVIDUAL CLIENT, NO MATTER THE TYPE OF MASSAGE*
